In the heart of a 140,000-acre national wildlife refuge lies the only place on Earth where man has launched into space to set foot on the Moon and is considered to be the birthplace of America’s space program, Kennedy Space Center! Stops on this tour include the 4 story LC-39 Observation Gantry, where you’ll be able to enjoy panoramic views of Kennedy Space Center & the Space Shuttle launch pads as well as the rocket launch pads at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. From the Observation Gantry, you’ll move on to the Apollo/Saturn V Center, where you’ll get to explore and learn about America’s quest for the moon through hands-on displays and multi-media shows. You’ll also be able to see a monstrous 363-foot Saturn V moon rocket, the most powerful rocket ever built, and one of only three Saturn V rockets in existence! Finally, you’ll conclude this tour with a look inside the International Space Station Center, the largest and most ambitious space program since the historic Apollo moon landings!
